This FstSort four lane bell pepper washing grading line is composed of a washing pool elevator, a high pressure brush washer, a picking table, a brush air dryer, and a weight grader.
Peppers are loaded into the soak tank for immersion, then conveyed into the high pressure brush washer for thorough cleaning. After washing, they move to the picking table where operators manually remove defective fruit, the rejected peppers are simply dropped into side mounted hoppers and carried away by the belt beneath. Peppers continue to the air drying machine, where brushes finish cleaning the surface and blow off residual moisture. Finally, the peppers are delivered via V-belts to the weight grader, which gently transfers them into empty trays and sorts them accurately by weight.
